Thank you, I really appreciate it!! Yes it is time consuming, however, it is so fun (at least for me) to hunt for things even if I come to a dead end because then I can come up with other creative ways to search. Happy New Years!!

Good Luck in your searces as well...Like you said, it was worth a try. I don't think the Boro name is too very common...I'll keep these messages for reference, and if I run across any Catherine Boro's, I'll be sure to pass them on. What a very time consuming hobby we have!

I have never seen Boro spelled in that way, but it could be possibly the English version. Would Boro be Catherine's maiden or married name? I don't have any Catherine Boro's as a maiden name, but do have a Catherine that married into a Boro family. Let me know. Thanks.

Hi. My grandma Irene Boro's father was John Boro who was the son of Joseph and Katherine (Czuba) Boro. Joseph was born in 1843 in Machowa, Poland. His wife, Katherine of Zajanskowic, Poland ws born in 1854.They came to America to make their future home in 1882 where they first lived in a sod house. They had five sons and two daughters. John Boro was one of the five sons and was married twice. First to Mary Ziemba who died giving birth and then to Agnes Pessack who had two children - Irene (my grandma!) and Julian

Hi from Colorado relatives. Although maybe distant. My mother in law is one of Frank Boro's children. Frank was a son of Joseph Boro and Katherine Czuba. There are a bunch of us relatives here as there are 7 children in my husbands family. Found the work that Jeanne did online and my mother in law is pretty interested. There are also several other children of Frank Boro's still living here in Colorado but regretably we have lost a few in recent years. Hope to hear from you soon. Family is always welcome here!
