I'm looking for anyone in the Petersburg W.Va. area that might be related to the George W. and Sarah (Sallie)Miller(Borror) family. My Great Grandmother was Rebecca Catherine Borror Strahan. Hi, Max Borror was my uncle, he was the last of my Mother's brothers and sisters. My Mother died Aug. 3, l966, she was Della M. Borror Luzier. I have lost track of all the relations on that side of the family except for Norma Combs, Cabins, WV. She is Aunt Virgie's, Uncle Max's and my Mom's sister. We used to visit Petersburg a lot before Aunt Virgie and my Mom died and were fairly close to the Merle Michaels family and the Combs family. My brother and sisters get together every year in WV at Senaca Rocks and go the the Annual Luzier family reunion. Thanks for the information. I wouyld like hearing from you.

Bobbie, I really did not know Uncle Max. My memories are of Aunt Virgie, Uncle Walter and their families but I am sure my brother and some of my sisters would remember more. I am getting together with them the last weekend of this month in WV. I will ask them and of course if I see Norma I will ask her also. Patricia

hello, do you have any Borror lines that are also spelled Bohrer or Borer/Borrer ? My line is almost all from Ohio up through (back)1858. possibly sooner...but form orig. Switz or Germ. Patricia, do you need any other info? Max lived on Grove st. next to the courthouse. His daughter Juanita sold the house to Andrew Fry after her death in 92. Juanita had 2 daughters now named Anita Heavener and Lloma (?) I do not know her married last name. Anita has 3 sons and 1 daughter. One son has a son of his own. Lloma has a daughter that has 2 children. We called Max "pap-paw". 2 of my brothers have his height and I have some of his "bony" structure. Pretty neat! I would like to know more about him if you have info about him. From what I understand he really favored me. I was only about 12 or so when he died but have great memories. Let me know if you need any other info and if you can tell me more about him and that side of the family that would be great! Bobbie Heavener

James Max Borror was my father. He died in 1968 at the age of 52. He went by the name of Max when he was growing up and casually in his adult life. He was born in the family home in Borror's Corners, Ohio and lived his childhood years in and around Ashville, Ohio (directly south of Columbus off of Rt 23 (approx 10 miles). He graduated from Ohio State in civil engineering and lived most of his life in Ohio. Any connection?

Max Borror was my great grandfather. He has only one child named Juanita Borror then married to Ralph Lamb and had two Daughters Anita and Lloma. I am Anita's Daughter. Juanita dies in Aug. 1992 Anita and Lloma are living Juanita and ralph divorced and Juanita remarried a Dick Lambert but no children. She died a Lambert. Max's wifes name was Mimie. She died before Max. Anita has 4 children and Lloma has 1.

It is called Borror's Corner and you can contact Lillian Borror Kenney, DBA Borror's Corners, Borror's Corner, 15525 Menominee Drive, Plymouth, Indiana. 46563-9794. Or contact her by email at borcorl@dnsonline.net and she will tell you more about it. It is very interesting, All Borror's write in and tell them about their family tree's. Also there are various spelling's on the name. They are Borror, Borrer, Boror, Bowyer and ect. If you arent getting anywhere, then you definetly want to check this out.
