My great-grandfather, Johann Nicholas Bose (1806 - 1884) married Johanne Juliana Weinrich (ca 1820 - ca 1908). I am descended from their younger son, Louis Karl Bose, born in 1855 in Marssel, Germany, and his second wife, Johanne Caroline Wehmeyer, daughter of Wilhelm (1833 - 1900) and Emilie Hollmann (1840 - 1904) Wehmeyer . Louis and Hannie married February 1900 in Bremen. Louis owned a large store in Durango, Mexico, but he was forced to move to San Antonio, Texas, at the start of the Mexican Revolution. Johanne's diary 1909-10 has been published. I am interested in sharing research with possible descendents of this branch of the Bose/Boese family.
