Read your post. I too had an Uncle Carl Bose. His parents (Ben and Bertha Bose) were from Germany. His siblings were Jessie, Tillie, Ella (Alice), Annie (Anna), Bill and Louis. If this is the same Carl Bose...howdy kinfolk!!!
