I did some research on my family and could scale up to 9 generations above me.

Our family linage could be traced back about 350 years. The founder was Manikram Bose. He established his family at Ramnagar, Khalisani, Howrah District.

He was a landed gentry. Was survived by 5 sons (dont know how many daughters)

As much as I know he came from Mahinagar.

One of his son was Balaram Bose- who was a direct Disciple of Ramakrishna Paramhansadev and has a street and ghat named after him.

Satish Chandra Basu - the founder of Anushilon Samity was also a part of this family.
