I believe they are related. The Bosma family would be my wifes grandparents. Her father Gary Guffey is still alive and met his father. His mother and father were never married, and he took his step-fathers name of Guffey. The elder Bosma died a few years back and was a retired police sergeant in Bothel Washington which is in King County (Seattle). There are numerous Bosmas still living in the area. If you can provide more information, I'll check with my father-in-law to confirm.
