John L. Boss, Jr.
John L. Boss, Jr., age 81, of Kodak,
passed away Thursday, June 11, 2009. He was an active member of St. Joseph the Carpenter Episcopal Church He was preceded in death by his wife, Zelma Jean Boss; brother Charles Boss; and sister, Rita Volk. Survivors include a son, John L. Boss, III, and wife, Susan, of Indianapolis, Ind.; daughters, Kathy Fromyer and huband, Bill, of Erie, Pa., Laura Mills, of Kodak, Tenn., Lynne Brown and life partner, Laura Luke, of Erie, Pa., and Lisa Parker husband, John, of Kodak, Tenn; grandchildren: Kristin, Linda, Bill Jr., Jordan, Jana, Paula Jo, Phillip, Bradley, John IV, Wes, Neal, Mary, Marsha, and John Jr.; great-grandchildren: Phillip Michael, Cody, Parker Rigsby, Kirsten, Aaron, Ariel, Lacie, Michael, Leah, Haley, Holden, Kimberly, and Maura; and niece Linda Barnett and husband, Dave, of Dandridge, Tenn. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sevier County Rescue Squad, P.O. Box 4277, Sevierville, TN 37864. A memorial service will be held 3 p.m. Sunday at St. Joseph the Carpenter Episcopal Church on Hardin Lane. The family will receive friends following the service at the church.
