Seeking information on Clinton(changed name from Christen) Bossen and his brother Mathias Gustav Allamander Bossen( Also known as Gus or Allen). Gus was born at sea on the way over from the Schleswig/Holstein area of Denmark/Germany(depending on who owned the land at the time) and Clinton was born here in Kent Co., MI. Gus married a woman named Sadie and are believed to have had a daughter Janette who married a McKenzie. Last known area for Janette was Missouri. She is believed to have had a son and daughter.

Mathias Gustav and Clinton were the sons of Mathias Andersen Bossen and Johanne Lucie Andresen born 1832 and 1837 respectively. Mathias landed in NY and stayed in Buffalo, NY for a time before coming to Michigan. Johanne Lucie came over with daughters Christine, Boate, Mathilde, and Emilie. Mathias Gustav was born at sea and later declared a citizen of the USA. Clinton was born in Michigan.
