I am looking for information for ancestor Pompose Placide Bossier, Free Woman of Color. She was born in the early 1800's possibly late 1700's. Lived in Natchitoches Parish which later became DeSoto Parish-Pelican, La. Obtained land patent for 160 acres of land in 1830's. Died around 1848 or 1849. Louis Rambin, Free Man of Color, opened succession on her estate in 1849. I believe he must have been her husband, son, or brother.
