I am Olive and Henry's grandson. They had four children, Harry, Larry, Granger and my father, Michael. All are now deceased. Suggest you email me separately at my address - henry.boston@freehills.com - and I can fill you in on some of the other details. My grandmother was a bit of a celebrity since she attempted to cross the Altantic 3 times and was torpedoed each time. The last time she was near enough to Ireland to be rescued and finally make it to the UK.

Kind regards

Henry Boston

Hello Ellen,
I guess we ARE kin to each other. I am Debbie, a daughter of Naomi, a daughter of Eva's (your GMA's sister).
No, I am not the neice who went to OK at that time...that would be Barbara (one of David's daughters). I have been to OK several times but have not had the pleasure of meeting you and your family. I've often told my Mom we should go out and reintroduce ourselves.
I have done some researching but have let it get buried under alot of stuff for the past few years. My attention has been diverted to keeping up with highschool and college academic and athletic activities. The grandkids' activities also get penciled in on the calendar.
Just got back from Cape Canaveral, FL after attending the launch of NASA's LRO-LCROSS project. My brother, John Marmie, is the deputy project manager of the mission that has been sent on its way to the moon. He and his other team members engineered the LCROSS portion of the project. It's mission is to search for water. It was an exciting day for him, his colleagues and us. We definitely wanted to be there in support. He's worked for NASA's Ames Research Center in CA since 1988. He's worked on this project for almost 3 years and it finally made its way to the launch pad on June 18th.
Just think, you have a relative that is trying his best to touch the moon! Keep in touch. Debbie

The Sarah Boston that I have in my genealogy research (unfortunately Sarah is a fairly common name) married a "Disman" (all I have) about 1859 at an unknown location. And married "Black" (all I have) about 1876. She also went by the nickname of Sally.

She was the youngest of 8 children. Her father was George Boston born 1793 in North Carolina and mother was Juda Cope born about 1795 in North Carolina. Juda Cope died in 1844 in Pleasant Shade, Tennessee.

If you think this is up your alley, let me know and give your e-mail address and I'll send you more information.

My George W. Boston (I don't know what the "W" is for) was born in 1829. His father was Andrew J. Boston and his mother was Ann (last name unknown at this time). Andrew was born in Tennessee - and died there as well. The path my Boston family took over the generation appears to be Maryland/Virginia to Tennessee to Arkansas. But, that does not mean that someone (or even several) could not have broken off and gone north to Ohio.

The book I have was passed down from my grandparents (Robert and Louise Boston) and was originally published in 1967. There are a few pictures in the book. Unfortunately, some of the references you made a a bit different in my book. Henry is shown to have died in 1676 and there are no references to a "Pete" Boston. However, John (Thomas perhaps?) Boston is referenced. I am definately interested in a invite to the Boston webpage. robertebostoniii@gmail.com I'm going to scan the family tree in the book and send you a copy to the e-mail you provided.

I'm also answering an old message board post, but I am Gus and Lura's granddaughter. I have been to Ohio twice and have taken pictures at the cemeteries and of the house where Grandma and her family lived. I understand your grandmother Eva lived there during her life as well. I also went to David Poulson's home once. This was on a trip back in the '90's with my parents, John and Mary Boston, and my brother Philip. We also went to Lois's home. I don't guess you're the niece who came to OK many years ago, are you? (David's daughter) In 2006, my husband and I came through Ohio again and went back by Grandma's old home and to the cemetery where Gus's mother is buried. Let me know if you have any research put together. Thanks, Ellen Huff

I have 3 George W.Boston in 3 consecutive generations.I cannot connect a Richard with any of them. The only Richard shows up in app. 1669 born to Henry Boston from England and Judith Best. Richard married Judy Benton . This marriage was the first George W. Boston 1704-1811.He had son George #2 1744-1850.George #2 had a son Michael that produced George #3.Michael 1800-1845.Don't have exact date s on George #3.Nothing to say that there was cousins that had the names of George and Richard somewhere.there was a lot of duplication of names then and still now making it very difficult to connect the dots.
