Thank you for that - what a lot of Botcherbys, all splendid folk, I'm sure.
The Robert Mann Blackett Botcherby I am pursuing spent his latter days in Brighton, and was buried in Highgate cemetery. He died a widower and without issue, leaving his valuable silver teapot and sundry Italian articles to his nephews and friends.
I wonder if anyone has his teapot, inscribed with his initials?
