Botello's in Texas

My name is Joann Botello Marin and live in San Antonio, TX. I was born in Pecos, Tx where me and my family lived most our lives. I've been searching ancestry for a while now but i believe i've come to a standstill. My fathers name was Guadalupe G. Botello who passed away in March of 1998. I believe his fathers name was Francisco "Franke" Botello and his mother was Matilda Garcia Botello, for the most i know my father was born in Bruni, Tx back in 1933 which is in the Laredo, Webb County area so If any one has any info about the family please email me at marin_joann@earthlink.net

Hello, I have more information on this family and would like to communicate with anyone who knows them. My g-grandfather was Natividad Botello, he married Anna Lutzenberger. Nat Botello died in 1954, Anna Botello died in 1972. They had at least 8 children and raised them in the Houston area. Their eldest son Alfred was my grandfather. Their other children were/are Jesse, Raymond, Joe, Valerie, Virginia, Ernestine, and Richard. If this sounds familiar to anyone, we would love to hear from you.
-Stephanie

BOTELLO FAMILY

I am researching a BOTELLO family who lived in BEXAR and HARRIS counties in Texas. My g-grandmother ANNA LUTZENBERGER married a Botello. They had four sons and possibly two daughters. My grandfather may have been their first son. His name was Alfred Lawrence Botello, b. 1913. He grew up in Texas but moved to California in the 40's. I would like to reunite my dad with his cousins. We have no photos from this side of the family and would like to connect with anyone who knows them. Thank you!-Stephanie

Botello history, Los Angeles

I am Jose Manuel Botello(III),32, from Los Angeles, Ca. My great great grandfather was born in El Platanal, Michoacan, Mexico. I believe his name was Agustin "El Amiguito" Botello, he was born in the late 1800's. His children were Rafael, Alfredo, Jose, Mercedes and Carolina. My great grandfather was Rafael Botello. I believe he changed his name to Rafael Larios when he came to Kansas to work at the age of 18, after my grandfather was born. My grandfather Jose Manuel Botello did not have a relationship with his paternal family since he moved to Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico with his mom at a young age after his father left to Kansas. I believe my grandfather has siblings from his father in Kansas. My grandfather had twelve children with my grandmother Julia Barrera in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. They all migrated to Los Angeles during the 70's. Our Botello Barrera family includes five generations of almost 100 members who still come together during weddings and other gatherings. I would like to know if anybody knows of more Botello's from Michoacan or places near by. I have heard our last name derives of Portugese decent.
Hello, We may be related somehow. Interestingly, my dad's father, Manuel Botello, had a father who lived in Oklahoma and I believe he was named after him. He didn't have a close relationship with him, but I know he came from Michoacan, Mexico.

HELP finding family!

ok, so I'm looking for multiple families. I'm searching for...

Elena Benitez (married name Valdez) who was widowed, living in El Paso, Texas in 1920. She was b. abt 1848 in mexico.

I know that she had at LEAST 2 children...
*Aureliano Valdez b. abt 1872 in mexico who married Amanda Soto. Their children include Arturo, Aurora, Rafaela, Aureliano Jr., Salvador, and Julieta.

*Maria Valdez b. abt 1880 in mexico, as widowed and living in El Paso, Texas in 1920. She was married to a Botello so the childrens last named stayed Botello. Children include Julio, Salvador, Maria, Rayo or Ramon or Ray (depending on who you ask), Joaquin, and Augustin (sp?).

I also know that she had grandchildren that she was helping raise in the US in 1920. Grandchildren were Ester (1904), Josefine or Josefina (1906), Carlos (1909), and Jesus (1910 or 1911) Valdez. I know that part of the family stayed in Texas and some of them came to California in various parts. If this sounds at all familiar please email me. Thanks a ton!!
coronadoclan@qwest.net

Anyone doing research in Spain on the Botello's? I'm a descendant of Vicente Botello, born around 1737. He lived in Jativa, Valencia, Spain prior to coming to Alamos, Mexico around 1760. May have had a brother Joaquin, also from Jativa. Any info would be appreciated.

I have a friend whose father was Manuel Botello. She lived/lives in Okla.City...which is very close to Kansas. She has never searched for her father, but knew his name.
I don't know the situation. I believe her parents married. She said there was a picture. At any rate the parents separated and Her mother married another. My friend loves her stepfather and I believe thinks it would be a betrayal if she seached for her real father. Her mother is very ill right now.
I'm not sure that she would approve of my search on the computer...but I believe something will be missing from her life is she does not know...something.
