Isaac's death certificate indicates that he is the father to four children with three living at the time of his death.

Issac married first to Elizabeth Howell born 1828 Sussex County, NJ died 1852 Veteran, Chemung, NY (daughter of Cornelius Howell and Sarah Bales). They had one known child, Charles W Botsford who was born 1850 and killed 14 Jun 1870 Millport, Chemung, NY.

Isaac Botsford ran a general store in 1850 at the "corners" (Millport, Veteran township, Chemung, NY) which later became a hotel.

Isaac married 2nd in 1854 to Margarette (Margaret) A Cooper, born 7 May 1832 Newfield, Tompkins, NY died 21 Jan 1906 Grand Rapids, Kent, MI. Her death certificate states she is the daughter of Warren Cooper (1800-1852) and Sarah Maria "Sally" Phelps (1803-?). Her family appears on the 1850 US census in Catharine, Chemung, NY and her father is buried in the Cayuta Cemetery, Schuyler County, NY. Margarette's death certificate indicates that she is the mother of three children with 2 living at the time of her death.

Isaac and Margarette had two known children; Sarah Maria Botsford born 1854 and Isabel born 1857.

The Isaac Botsford family removed to Michigan shortly after 1880.

Sarah Maria Botsford born 15 May 1854 Cayuta, Schuyler, NY died 29 Feb 1940 San Fransisco, CA; married 1882 at Grand Rapids, Kent, MI to Elijah Pratt Tucker born 6 Oct 1844 Collins, Erie, NY died 14 May 1906 Grand Rapids, Kent, MI with two children; Roy Pratt Tucker (1884-1966) and Claire A Tucker Bender (1894-1974). Elijah P Tucker is the son of Elijah Blount Tucker and Prudence Pratt of Erie County, NY. Elijah P Tucker was interred 17 May 1906 at Oak Hill Cemetery in Grand Rapids, MI. His death certificate show father of three children with two living. Sarah Botsford Tucker's body was cremated in San Fransisco with burial in Cypress Lawn Cemetery, San Mateo, CA. Funeral and Burial signatory is son in law, Dr. William Lee Bender.

Isabel "Belle" Botsford born 1857 Veteran, Chemung, NY married and divorced Jerome L Westbrook (1852-); son of Jacob and Mary Rumsey Westbrook of Van Etten, Chemung, NY, with one son Ernest Levern Westbook born 20 Mar 1877 Cayuta, Schuyler, NY. Jerome remarried in 1891 to Ada Campfield and remained in the vicinity of Chemung County, NY. with three additional children. Isabel "Belle" Botsford Westbrook (1857-1928) is the signatory on her mother's death certificate and she and her son Ernest Levern Westbrook (1877-1936) are interred in this cemetery as well.
