My heritage starts in the Chippawae (Ojibwe) Nation. Joshep Bottineau was of Hugenot patronage and employed by the Northwest Fur Company. He married Clear Sky(My great great great grandmother). They had 2 sons-Severt and Pierre Bottineau born in 1810-1814 in the Red River Valley. Severt married Julia Chenvert(my great great grandmother) and they had Sophia Bottineau (my great grandmother). She was born in the woods of Minnesota(Canada) in 1865. Sophia married Timothy Flannigan on 10-18-1881. He was born in Quebec on 12-6-1857 and died 3-23-1926 She died in Buffalo Minnesota in 1943. Am searching for Clear Sky's parents. Any help
