I'm trying to find out more info on Lucrety BOTTS (b. 4/15/1885 d. 3/21/1971)who was married to Emery Parris (b. 8/12/1881 d. 3/8/1965). They had the following children: Aud, Hoyt, Doyle, Ada, Claude, Leonard, Leona, Elivee, Evelyn. They are both buried at Chapel Hill Cemetery in Trion, GA. Many other members of the BOTTS family are buried in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery near Morganton, GA (Fannin Co., GA I think). I only remember seeing her twice in my life and that was in the hospital before she died and then at her funeral (she was my great-grandmother). I have been told that she was 1/2 Cherokee Indian. I do not know if that is true or not but she did have long jet black hair. If anyone knows anything about Lucrety please let me know; I would greatly appreciate it.
