Have since found that the spelling of my family is Bougie. Sorry I can't help anymore than that. My family Bougie settled in Oswego, NY. Let me know if you have any connections there.

My husbands grandmother was Pearl Bouchie Decker of Vincennes, IN. Do you have any info on her? She was married to Erie Decker.

my grandmother was Julia Bouchie, da of Felix and Josephine Bouchie, my mother was Mary Gosnell of St. Francisville, ILL Have other info of family history also. I don't think this is "your Felix E. Bouchie", but worth a gamble. my gggrandf was Felix E. Bouchie, married to Joshepine A Delorier/Deloria in 10-21-1886, both from Vincennes, IN. His parents were Lawrence Bouchie or Laurent Bouche' & married to Rachel Frazer/Frajeur.( no other info on her). Felix Bouchie is buried inVincennes, IN , in Mt Calvery Cemetary, he died 8-16-1927. He mother was a Kirkeau(?) father supposedly Pierre but impossible as he died before her birth. Run a Boucher family site but only one other Bouchie in the group. Can you help?

Well, all I have so far are strories and a census that lists Canada as the birth place for my in-laws. My husbands gr gr grand parents are Samuel & Mary Bouchie with children Edward, Rosana, William, Arthur, Leo, Rose and Rita, his gr grand parents are Arthur & Delia and his parents are Samuel & Regina. Most everyone then and now is from NH. Let me know if any of this sounds like your family. I have been working on other lines that are in the States and easier for me to research than Canada.

found an article we had copied years ago from the archives in Vincennes re: Felix's death 11-8-1897. Spoke of a family home in Quebec and the name Boisbriant. And lineage from VETAL BOUCHIE and the daughter of Mrs. Cardinal whom he worked for. Vetal had immigrated to Vincennes circa 1760 in the midst of the french/indian war. Can anyone help?
