Hello Everyone,
Please help if you can? I'm trying to identify the parents of 'Margarita Boudrot' who appears as the Godmother in 1800 to one of my ancestors here on the Gulf Coast. The baptism was 10-July-1800 performed by a traveling priest from St. Louis Cathedral, New Orleans. The Godfather was 'Juan Bautista Farve' Since Louisiana was under Spanish control at the time they are the Spanish equivalent. ie, Marguerite, Jean Baptist. She may have been the wife of Jean Baptiste Favre at the time, but that is uncertain. Much of my research lately has taken an unexpected 'Acadian' turn, which is very interesting.

Thanks for looking in and if I can help anyone, please let me know. I am researching Bergeron, Babin, Favre, Gusman, Gousman, Bonnevie, Buenavida, Ladner, Frederique dit Lafontaine, Schneider, LucdeGuerre.

Marsha
