Mrs. Elizabeth Montgomery Passes
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Elizabeth Montgomery at the Anderson chapel, the Rev. Schuyler Pratt, officiating, on Tuesday of this week. Mrs. Montgomery passed away at The Dalles on September 13, after a long illness. Born in Detroit, Michigan, Mrs. Montgomery came west with her husband, and had lived in both Oregon and Washington before she took up residence in The Dalles for her health. Her husband died some time ago. Survivors are two sons, Roy and Jack, and four daughters, Mrs. Fred Cooley of Hood River, Mrs. Merval Perkins, of Dryden, Wash., Mrs. V. E. Keys. of Bingen, Wash., and Mrs. L.J. Cooper, of Powers, Ore. Interment was at Idlewilde cemetery.
