I have found some information on a Boughton Family while looking for information on a Broughton Family.
The two that I am interested in are:
Joseph Broughton 1796-1867
Sarah A Boughton born 1809-1896
They are buried in Rock City Falls Cementary, Saratoga Co, NY
I believe this family came to New York from England and lived in Saratoga Co. I have found other Boughtons in the area,, a Henry Boughton who died while serving in the Civil War,, he was with the 77th Inf..died Aug 30, 1862

In the 1850 Milton Census I find:
Joseph age 50
Sally age 40 James 9mo.
Bishop Sally age 13

On the same page:
Elizabeth Boughton age 59

Also,, In another cemetary in Saratoga Co.. Halfmoon Cemetary I find:
Hiram Boughton, age 71 at death in 1875
Lydia Boughton, age 59 at death in 1865
If Joseph and Sarah have at least two daughters named
Francis Emma Boughton
Hannah Boughton..

They could be another set of grandparents.. I know this set of grandparents came to New York from England,, They are connected with the Gray Family also from England. But,, I think the name changed along the way????
This information is new to me,, and it is all I have .. but I will keep digging and see what I find...
But,, hoping someone here knows of this family.
