Iam trying to research a Francis Bulley, is how it is spelled in the census for 1861 in Dover township Ontario Canada. States that he is French born in Lower Canada wifes name is Marguerite. In the 1871 census for Ontario it is spelled Bully. Iam having a hard time tracing his line since Bulley is not a French name. Iam assuming that it has been anglicized or wrote wrong.He was born around 1800. He had a son named Francis born around 1831-1832 in Quebec I believe. Francis married a Susan King (Roy) in Ontario. Francis senior also had a son William and a daughter Lucy,these are children that I know of so far . Lucy married a Lamarche.
