We took a picture of a tombestone in Rollo Bay. It says Sarah, wife of Simon Bourke. I think that this is Sarah in your family. I have tried to link to Stephen White's genealogy that is found in his book. I know that his research is accurate. He has a Bourque going to Fortune Bay, PEI. This is alongside Rollo Bay. It is hard to make the link unless you are a serious researcher which I am not.
Someone suggested that Joseph Simon Bourque married to Genevieve Chaisson as Simon's parents?? If, and this is a wild guess that Joseph Bourg and Julie Arseneau are his parents then we know that Joseph's father was Ambroise Bourg married to Elizabeth Melanson. Ambroise's parents were Martin Bourg and Marie Potet. Martin Bourg's father and mother were Antoine Bourg and Antoinette Landry. This is some wild guessing. I wish I had a line to Stephen White. He is probably the only one who could shed light on this mystery.
