Surnames: Boutin - Cassista - Casista - Curtis
Looking for info on Isiah Boutin, b:1831/1832, in Quebec.
According to the 1881 census, Stanstead, Quebec, the name is spelled "Boutagh". In the 1901 census his name is spelled "Bontagh". Wife Eliza, b: 1845,USA. Children - George, b: 1864 - Mary, b: 1865 - Emma, b: 1868 - Albert, b: 1871 - Willie, b: 1876; all born in the USA.
Mary Boutin married Henry Casista/Curtis; she was born in Alburgh, VT.
I can't find them in any USA census, or the 1911 census. Is there a nickname, or another spelling for Isiah? His grandchildren spelled the last name "Boutin".
