I am working on my family tree and use help or be of help to you who are also working on the BOWDOIN family name. This family came from France by way of Ireland in the 16oo's
I believe that our line is decended from John Sr...his parents were Pierre BOWDOIN (Bauduoin)and Elizabeth Fix. They lived in the Boston area and John moved to Virginia
