Captian Acelease K. Bowles of Mississippi and Arkansas

Known as Ake to his family. He first married Mary Jane Gooch and had John B. Bowles and Alva Bowles. They were living in Lafayette, MS. Then moved to Franklin Co. AR. Second marriage was to Susannah Elizabeth "Betty" Peters. They
had Mary Arizona and Thomas J. Bowles. Ake left the second family. I am trying to find where he went. I have a death date that was given to another family researcher. This person has the family Bible and lives in Texas. He is a family member of John B. Bowles, who died in Stanley, OK.
Please let me know of any imformation on Ake. Thank you.

I do not know anything about her or her line. Going by info I have seen she married a Andrew MAUCK/MAUK who was born in
maybe Toms Brook,Frederick County,Virginia and he ended up in Sullivan County,Tennessee.
So I don't know if she was from Va. or Tenn.
Anything ring a bell?

Looks like you have the info I have on Cora Armstrong b1866 IA and her marriage to Charles Whallon in OK, their children Frank and Anna. Charles and family on 1920 Tiger twp, Creek, OK census.

Polly Ann "Mary" Bowels married Franklin Armstrong (4 Jul 1831 - 25 Mar 1919) in Indiana (no date or county available). They then moved to Madison, Union County, IA in 1854. She died in 1877. After she died, Franklin Armstrong moved to Wray, Yuma, CO
