I am looking for information on family of John Arthur Bowen, known as Arthur. He was a slave in Washington DC in 1836, but was sold in 1836, possibly to John Stockton, and taken south, perhaps to Glynn county Georgia. At that time, he was 19 years old. His mother's name was Maria Bowen.
Thanks for your help.
