I'd like to introduce myself. I've been involved in Genealogy for about
25 years and am researching many names including my surname of BOWERMAN.
I have been conducting a one name study for many years and am registered
with the Guild Of One Name studies.

I have much information regarding the name although the majority is
related to England I have had correspondence with those who have
BOWERMAN ancestors overseas. My own family originate from the
Kidlington, Water Eaton Islip areas of Oxfordshire and before that it
is uncertain. My ancestor James BOWERMAN moved to London in the 1860's
and his brother Edward slightly earlier.

Many of my recent correspondents have BOWERMAN families in Devon,
Cornwall Somerset and I am trying to increase the information I have
on these areas.

I would be happy to here from anyone researching the name with a view to
adding to my collection of records and helping you with your research.
It I can't help there are many people researching the name who probably
can.
