I am looking for any information pertaining to Joseph O. Bowie who married Roxalana Abbott on February 24,1831 in Jefferson Kentucky. They had the following children: Mary Ellen Bowie born 1832 who married Elias Mann, Roxalee Bowie who married J. Daniels and Rezin Bowie.
I am the ggranddaughter of Mary Ellen Bowie Mann.
My grandmother told all of us grandchildren that her mother Mary Ellen was related to Jim Bowie-I know it had to be a brother, as Jim Bowie's children died when young. My grandmother named one of her sons Rezin.
