Yes, that is the Bowler project. "Our" Bowlers are group 3. I think that you would only need to test 25 markers to confirm whether or not you are related. The price for that test is considerably less than for the 67 marker test. Most of the serious DNA projects are alligned with FTDNA, but may accept other companies' testing although the specific markers tested aren't identical.
