Granda Bowler worked as a tailor at street level on Ormond Quay, but i find it amazing that you should have a diary, mentioning the the Tailor Bowler. His wife's name was Catherine and one of his daughters is named was also Catherine ( we call her Kate ) I am going to contact Auntie Kate and ask her about the "cousin" Paddy. I heard through the grapevine that granda liked his pint Granda was a tallish man 5'11" and had strong views on Irish politics. I remember him as a grumpy man but generous with the few pound. Everytime we called to him we got 6p
After I have talked to Auntie Kate I will keep you informed. Kate would be about 70 now. Could this mean that we are cousins ? :)
