Hello

I am looking for a Bowler (hat) family that seemed to originate in Denton and Haughton. The 1841 Census know them as BOWERS. There are a great many names on it but no easy way to tease out relationships. Then they appear on the 1851 Census in Southwark. My children' ancestor was Thomas, son of Nancy who married Elizabeth Park. Elizabeth and Thomas had lots of children. One of them was Thomas William Bowler who married a Turner. He was the nephew (in law?) of Dina Bowler, married to Benjamin. He was also the executor of her Will. Dina and Benjamin had a son called Benjamin. A family story has it that Thomas William was apprenticed to Dina - presubably to learn to be hatter.
