Do you have sources/references for your information regarding Samuel Bowling, Sr. and Pittsylvania County? I have long wished to make that quantum leap to connect my Samuel Bowling (b. 1778) to Samuel and Abigail Choice Bowling. I have solid information and connections to Samuel Bowling in Carroll County, GA and Randolph County, AL. He is my GGGG-Grandfather. I have physically located Samuel Jr's farmstead in Randolph County, AL, purchased through a Land Patent in 1850.
