I think I met your grandfather during the war at Tregaskes(?) in Pennsylvania when I stayed with his brother Frank for a few days leave. He was one my father`s uncles and came to Nottingham on a visit in 1948 staying at my home.
I am in my eighties and have been looking at the Bowns family over the past year.
