My great grandfather Harold Bowns told my mother that he played in Nottingham forest so I assume he didn't live far from there. We believe he came to america Pennsylvania in particular in 1912 or so. I believe his brothers name was John. If you have any information on this please let me know. I am having a heck of a time finding any information because as the story goes my great grandfather came to america dressed up like a woman. I think he was in a bit of trouble with the law.
