John Young Bown (1821-1890) married 1. Rachel Campbell Ferrie by whom one son, John Campbell Ferrie Bown (1856-1933). J.Y. later married Margaret Macklem Cummings by whom Margaret Cummings (1862-1919), Alexander Leith (1867-1907), Mary Russell, Emily Frances (1870-), Walter Robert (1874-) and Theodore Willoughby (1877-). The family lived in Brantford, Ontario but were scattered by 1913.
