My 3 x great grandparents John Bown b.c1797 and Sarah Paling are from Radford, Nottingham, is anyone else researching this family.
They and their children went to Calais as Lacemakers, and in 1848 came to South Australia, Australia on the "Harpley".
Children: Ann, William, Elizabeth, Harriett, Mary Ann, Caroline, Edmund, John and Henry.
Any help is greatly appreciated as am having trouble researching Nottinghamshire.
