Hi,
My Boyack line is stuck in South Shields, County Durham, England at the moment.
I am the granddaughter of Peter Boyack Robertson the younger.
Last year someone on the message boards (apologies, have lost original message) told me that Boyack was a place name for somewhere small in the Fife area of Scotland but I have not been able to find any reference to it since.
I think the M in the middle of Helens husbands name may stand for Mather but I am waiting a death certificate to check that.
Would love to hear from anyone with any info to help join up the Durham Boyacks to the Scottish ones.
Also wish to start tracing my gt aunts Madge (Margaret) and Nell who both emigrated to NZ when my mother was a teenager but haven't yet checked whether they married here or over there.
Cheers
