I just found out where he may be. I put his name in Facebook, and it came up with a link to Motherlode.com, and he was the most wanted of the week, in sept. 2009, for sonora california's police department. He was wanted for carrying a dangerous weapon, public drunk, and one other charge. This is the link http://www.mymotherlode.com/news/local/490689/Carl-Sandy-Boy...
It has his picture also. I sent an email to the police dpartment to see if he is still in jail or prison, and if I could contac him. Sorry it's not good news. but maybe this will help.

Terry,

Thank you for making the post. Please take a look at the other postings and related Boyette lines from TN and NC. Let me know if you have any questions.

If you have any male Boyette relatives, they can be DNA tested to confirm that this is part of the original Boyt/Boyte/Boyett/Boyette line from the Virginia Colony (Nansemond, Upper Parish).

Additional Information:
http://www.pbase.com/daveb/boyett
http://bellsouthpwp.net/B/o/Boyt-Boyett/Page.htm

David
Hello, I am Butch Boyette's daughter. I was born Terry Lynn Boyette.
Yes, Emma (we were told her name was Emma not Emmie) had Bonnie Lee ("Butch" who ended up a professional wrestler with the name Mario Galento), Jewel, Billy and Wayne.
My grandfather was killed in an accident (he was hit by a car, he was walking). My grandmother went downhill quickly after that. She had been such a tough, strong woman... To the best of my recollection, this occurred somewhere around 1965 - 1968. I believe my grandmother died around 1967 - 1968.
Can you give me any Boyette info? Cecil's or Emma's heritage?

I'm sorry but on my previous posting I gave you the wrong names for the parents of another Lewis Henry Boyett. It was Elijah Boyett - b. 1809 in N.C. (also a brother of Baptist Boyett) and Elijah's wife, Susan (Crane) Boyett who were the parents of the other Lewis Henry. The 1850 Tenn. census lists their son as Lewis - age 10, however, the 1860 Tenn. census gives it as L. H. - age 20. It is easy to see where the confusion lies as both Baptist and his brother, Elijah, had sons named Lewis Henry. It is possible that "Butch" Boyett is descended from Elijah and Susan.

I just came across your posting of several years ago and noted a reply that indicated that Bonnie Butch Boyette may have been descended from Lewis Henry and Almyra (Morrow) Boyette. I am certain this is incorrect. Lewis Henry and Almyra did have a son named Samuel L. Boyett who was married to Eva (Blanton) - Samuel and Eva had only one child, a son, who was also named Samuel L. Boyette. This son, although married, had no children. Lewis Henry and Almyra were my great grandparents. It is possible that "Butch" could be descended from Eli Boyett, who was a brother of Baptist Boyett. Eli, I believe, had a son named Lewis Henry Boyett.
I have not researched the Eli Boyett line but did note that he had a son, L. H., on one of the census.
At this late date, you probably have the information you were seeking.

The Boyett's IE: Boyettes, Are my late husband's family IE: my son and daughters reletives. I do not know where they originated except tenn and Ark. Alot of them in tenn, around the Gibson area. the name was changed back and forth depending on school teacher I am thinking. Adding the e to make it easier for the child to spell.????that is just a guess. No proof. I know My husbands, James L boyette fathers name was the same. He had aa brother cecil in tenn. and that cecil had a son named Bonnie Lee, who was sort of a Icon wrestler. in the days of Wrestling for Sat Night TV> Ha ha.. Probably the guy people like to boooooo....Look up my research for a guide if you like, it is public and by no means meant to be used as a deffinate. Boyette Family Tree. Shirley

Re: Bonnie "Butch" Boyette- Professional wrestler

I have just started doiing research on My Husbands family.
I have found some from knowing that he was a cousin to Bonnie Boyette and he was a pro- wrestler.
My Husbands name was James L Boyette. His father was james Boyette and he lived with his Brother Cecil in Tenn. I have found Cecil and his family in the census records. However I am stuck as to who their parents were. i do know that the name's spelling was boyett and the younger generations changed it to Boyette. I remeber visiting Cecil and his wife at one time when Jim and I went to Little Rock. We took a couple of days and drove to memphis and visited with his Uncle Cecil. the family always talked about Bonnie Lee. Being a Pro wrestler. Jim and I lived in San Diego. We have two children, Rocky Lee Boyette, born in 1958, and his sister, Rhonda Lynn Boyette, born, 1961..James was a Sgt. in the marines, and then later a San Diego Police officer. He died in 1967..buried in Little Rock Ark. next to his Father, also James Boyette. Any Family out there ?? I would love to hear from you . I would like to connect the dotts on the Boyettes for my kids.
