Evening Kerry:
All the place names you mentioned are also discussed in "Under 37 Kings" Try to find a Mormon library near you and see if they have a copy. If not, get them to send you the copy from Salt Lake City or make a copy. (It's several hundred pages long and will cost about $50 for them to make a copy.
After I sent my last reply, I spent some time researching William Boys from Willesborough and found three. Since I don't know the years of your William, I can't tell you much. The book covers from 1066 to 1924 or so.
I also have a partial tree for the entire clan and branchs back to the 13th century, that also has a number of Williams on it
My Boys settled in and around Toronto (Barrie) in 1833 and are still there, although we lost contact with them 10 or 15 years ago.
Henry Boys was the Bursar of Kings College in Toronto and later a Judge. He had 8 children but only three boys. I believe that his youngest, William Fuller Alves Boys, sired both a well known Judge and a General from thatd area.
As I said in my earlier message, my family moved to Texas, where I was born and grew up. After I got married we left the state for 35 years and only returned to San Antonio to retire and keep an eye on my 96 year old mother.
If you could give me some additional information to go on, I'll be happy to se what I can find.
Hank
