"Sorrow filled many a heart when the death of Mrs. O. B. Boyum of North Prairie was announced. She passed away after an illness of less than two days of pneumonia. The funeral was held last Monday from the Hauges church of Arnedahl and interment was made in the Arnedahl cemetery. The Rev. O. J. Mundahl, a nephew of the deceased assissted by Rev. P. Ljostveit conducted the services. Mrs. Boyum, whose maiden name was Helena Larson, was 43 years old and the only daughter of Truls and Guri Larson. She was united in marriage on June 23, 1890 to Ole B. Boyum and had 13 children, all of whom are living. The husband and mother also survive."

My information says that Helene Larson was born on the Esse Farm, Winona Co., MN [USA] and that she m. Ole Bjoinson Boyum on 23 June 1890. Ole was the son of Bjorn Oleson Gjerde Boyum [b. 1823 Norway, d. 1902 MN] and his wife, Mari Friksdatter Fjaerstad [b. 12 Dec 1823 Norway, d. 1902 MN].

Mari was a sister to my GGGrandfather, Ole Frickson Fjaerstad [know as Ole Frickson in the USA].
