Hi, Jay Cee,

Looks like Bozearth is another variation of Bozarth. Boze-arth and Bo-zarth have almost the same pronounciation when you stop to think about it.

I haven't had a chance to check out all the names, but some of them are connected to Alfred M. Bozarth and Margaret A. "Maggie" Armstrong. Alfred M. "Doc" Bozarth, s/o Samuel F. Bozarth (1837-1880) and Emeline Pettit (1838-1904), was b. 14 Jul 1859 and d. 4 Nov 1932 in Mt Holly, Burlington Co, NJ. Stone reads 1860-1932. He was buried in Evergreen Cem, Lumberton, Burlington Co, NJ.

Alfred married Margaret A. "Maggie" Armstrong about 1884 (had been married 26 years in 1910 c/r). Margaret, d/o William K. Armstrong (1824-____) and Frances Green (1840 -____), was b. 9 Jul 1866 in NJ and d. 1/3 Oct 1933 in Vincentown, Burlington Co, NJ, buried Evergreen Cem, Lumberton, Burlington Co, NJ. Stone reads 1866-1933. She had a brother named James M. Armstrong. The 1910 c/r show Alfred and Maggie had 5 children, 3 living. These children were:

1. William A. Bozearth / Bozarth - b. 26 Apr 1884, d. 29 Aug 1894, Shamoug Twp, Burlington Co, NH; buried. Evergreen Cem, Lumberton, Burlington Co, HJ (I am guessing the A. stood for Armstrong)

2. Emma E. Bozearth / Bozarth - b. 20 Dec 1886, NJ; d. 1 Sep 1932; m. 1 Sep 1903, Medford, Burlington Co, NJ to Amesa L. Atkinson; son John B. lived Vincentown

3. James Norman Bozearth / Bozarth - b. 16 Nov 1892, NJ; d. 5 May 1893, Indian Mills, Shanoug Twp, Burlington Co, NJ; buried Evergreen Cem, Lumberton, NJ

4. Harold E. Bozearth / Bozarth - b. 25 Jan 1897, NJ; d. 1978; buried Old Baptist Cem, Marlton, Burlington Co, NJ; m/1. 1919 to Rose A. Baker (1898-1954), 2 daus; m/2. Lillian D. Russell (1902-2 Sep 1973)

5. Edith F. Bozearth / Bozarth - b. __ Oct 1902; m/1. Charles Kendall; m/2. _______ Carlson; had son James who lived Brigantine, NJ in 1970.

This family group sheet developed by Theodore W. Bozarth of Titusville, NJ on 8 Feb 1993. Sources: 1910, 1915, 1920 c/r; d/r per JWH; grave stone in Evergreen Cem; 1850 c/r for Wm. K. Armstrong; grave stone in Old Baptist Cem.

Since the information I have for some of these burials show Evergreen Cemetery and your information indicates that they were buried in Lumberton Cemetery, I am wondering if the name of the cemetery was changed in later years.

Sorry I can't send this to you in a GEDCOM file. I haven't had time to enter any of my five or six notebooks of New Jersey records in my FTM files as yet. It's either answer questions from my records in plain language or enter records into my FTM with no time to answer queries. <smile>

Will look for the other names later and hope I will be able to send you further data on them at that time.

Regards,

VirJean Potter Bozarth
