I do not think there was a Daniel Brace. I think James "Brace" is actually James Brace Buckley, son of Zula Mills and Joseph Cephas Buckley. All the 4 children of Zula/Azulah and Joseph were abandoned about 1875. Please contact me.
When James "Brace" remarried after his wife Dora passed, he listed his parents as Sophia Mills and Daniel Brace.
