Geneva Bagwell Brackens, 80, widow of Samuel Clarence Brackens, died Sunday, Jan. 18, 2004.
Born on July 8, 1923, in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late William Earl and Ola Nix Bagwell.
Survivors: A son, Clarence (Doug) Brackens and wife, Nora; grandchildren, Timothy A. Brackens and Peggy S. Hill; great-grandchildren, Eddie A. Hill, Samantha R. Hill and Jennifer D. Hill, all of Summerville. Predeceased: A sister, Bernice Allsept.
Graveside service: 2 p.m. Monday, Jan. 26, 2004, at Graceland Cemetery, Greenville. Flowers will be accepted. -- Parks Funeral Home, Summerville
