Was Martha Ann Brackett one of the children born to Henry Hartwell Brackett and Mary S. Prescott? My greatgrandfather (John O. French) was a child of Edmund French and Martha Ann Brackett (from Maine). When his father died when he was young he was sent to live with his uncle (George A. Brackett) in Minneapolis. John O. French was a surviving Civil War veteran who served with the First Minnesota Infantry Volunteers.
