I have some Connell ancestry in Woodstock, N.B., descended from Loyalist Charles Connell who was given land grant across the St. John River from Woodstock. We feel Charles son, John F. Connell is an ancestor; he married Anna (or Rosanna) Gibbons or McGibbon 1840s, located in Calais ME, is buried there; we have yet to discover marriage records. I have much on this immigrant's family, less on background.
