I just received Shirley's book on the Bracketts. I'm really enjoying it, but am super stumped on 1 person. My research on ancestry found Thomas Brackett b 1718, to be an ancestor of mine. I show he's the son of John Brackett & Elizabeth Pickering. When I search ancestry, it seems everyone has this Thomas with birth year 1718 and he's the only child listed. However, in Shirley's book, their son Thomas was born 1727 and has no wife listed. Also, he's 1 of 7 children.

according to what I had so far, Thomas b 1718 was my 7th great grandfather, but now I'm not sure if what I thought, is correct.

does anyone have any information that might help me figure this out... thanks
