I am trying to trace the family of my grandmother. She was born in April of 1889 and married John Ernest Ashmore. They lived in Columbia, SC. Her father was John J. Bracknell. I know that she had some half brothers and/or sisters as well as possibly some full brothers and/or sisters. I did meet a half first cousin named Benzi Rice. I do not know who her mother was or where she was born. Otherwise I never met any of her family. My father used to say I looked like her people but I had to take his word for it. My father was Lloyd Ernest Ashmore and he died in 1993. Thanks for any help. Libby Ashmore
