Classification: Query
Surnames: Bradbury, Bradberry
I have just had my Y-DNA tested and I'm R1a - which has possible links with Norse Vikings. I'd be interested to hear if other Bradburys have had theirs tested.
My relatives are from the Leeds area - my Great Grandfather was Joseph Bradbury b.1869 who set up a Pork Butchers business. His Great Grandfather - also a Joseph (also known as Bradberry) was born in Pateley Bridge in around 1780. He was married to Rosamund and had at least 3 children John (b.1806), William (b. 1808) and Betty (b. 1810). John my Gt x3 Grandfather moved to Leeds to work in the steel industry. I have all the recent census data in a spreadsheet if anyone is interested.
