Classification: Death
Appears in The Terrell Times, 7 August 1885, Terrell, Kaufman County, Texas
Died
About 11 o’clock on Sunday morning the spirit of William E. Bradfield returned to its Maker. Willie had been ill with typhoid fever but a few days, and many of those who were told of his death were greatly surprised for but few even knew that he will ill. Only a few days since he was on the streets mingling with his friends and associates. Willie was about 19 years of age, just entering manhood’s estate and was a bright and intelligent boy, faithful to his employees and kind to his parents and sisters. He was a member of the Terrell Fire Department, and the boys attended the funeral on Monday morning in full uniform, and thus paid the last respects to their beloved and brave comrade. The bereaved parents and family have the sincere sympathy of their neighbors and friends.
