Absolutely enlightening. So many more questions arise while contemplating these things.

Why didn't John M. get involved with the Civil War.

If he/they lived in Canton during the 1860, 1870 & 1880 Census, why are the children born in 1862 in MI & 1868 in PA? Why 8 years pass between the birth of the children?

Thank you for your thorough research.

I am still hoping to find ancestors of Mark A. Bradley, their first child. I have not identified his wife or their children. It appears that Mark is about as common as John.
