Does anyone know anything about a Duzier Bradner who was in
Pittsylvania County in 1814?

In the Pittsylvania County Marriage Register there is a marriage record dated October 17, 1814, for a John Norton to Nancy Frizzle, daughter of Abraham Frizzle. This couple was married on November 9, 1814, by Rev. Thomas Boaz. The surety was Dozier Bradner.

I found no other record for Dozier Bradner but he certainly predates John C. Bradner in Pittsylvania County records by 12 years. To be a surety in a marriage bond, he had to be at least of legal age, being 21 years at that time. At a minimum, he was born in 1793.

Neither did I find records for Norton and Frizzle.
